Support Structures

Intricate detail
We have extensive knowledge and experience in the design and construction of complicated steel structures and we would be happy to supply design and construction advice for appropriate projects.

Support Structures Complicated Geometry

The support of structural glazing can take many forms including but not limited to, glued laminated timber, prestressed concrete and tensile cables but perhaps the most efficient and certainly the most popular is mild steel.
Complicated geometry and intricate detail can be easily achieved with tubes and hollow sections which are often specified for architecturally significant projects. And, thanks to their slender appearance and considerable structural properties, architects are afforded the opportunity to design large glass facades that appear to be suspended in thin air.

Our approach is to work closely with architects, engineers and clients right from concept stage, we are able to offer our experience and skills to help guide the project to the best solution, both visually and economically. Specialising in complex geometry, we use state of the art 3D design to produce the stunning structure and glass facade that defines the building and sets it apart from the rest.
